Asia Pacific AIDS & Co-infections Conference (APACC) 2020 Re-scheduled

COVID-19 Update

On behalf of the Conference Chairs, we would like to inform you that we have decided to re-schedule this year's APACC to 15-17 October 2020. The location remains in Bangkok, Thailand.

  • Registrants that are able to attend the new dates will automatically have their registration re-assigned to the new dates. If you are not able to attend, we will refund 100% of your registration fee. Please contact us if you need to cancel your participation by 30 June.
  • The new abstract deadline is Friday, 31 July. The conference secretariat will contact the abstract submitters individually to inquire whether they would like to withdraw and/or re-submit their abstract.

New abstract submission deadline

In light of the new schedule, the deadline for abstract submission is changed to Friday, 31 July, at 23:59 hours CET. New original data, as well as encored abstracts, are both accepted. All abstracts must focus on the Asia-Pacific region and contain up-to-date information at the time of the conference.

New scholarship application deadline

Virology Education (VE), with support from the industry, is offering scholarships to HIV healthcare professionals from the Asia Pacific region to attend the Asia Pacific HIV Clinical Forum 2020, the Asian Stigma & Discrimination Forum 2020, and APACC 2020 from 14 to 17 October in Bangkok. The scholarship covers registration, travel, and lodging. The application deadline is changed to Monday, 3 August, at 23:59 hours CET!

New registration deadline

Full fees are extended until 31 July. Members of endorsing organizations receive an additional 25% discount on registration fees. Contact your society for the discount code to enjoy the benefit. Get in touch if you would like your organization to be part of APACC 2020.

New dates for the pre-events

Consequently, the schedules for the Asia Pacific HIV Clinical Forum and Asian Stigma & Discrimination Forum are changed to 14 October and 15 October, respectively.
